The Livingstone International Cultural Arts Festival takes place every alternative year during March. It was conceived in 2013 by The Livingstone 2013 Initiative in partnership with the Zambian Tourism Board. This is a vibrant, colourful and fun weekend for everyone to enjoy. As usual Zambia will be inviting cultural dance and music groups from surrounding countries.

This festival is now hosted by The Zambian Tourism Board following their exciting sponsorship of the inaugural event held in June 2013, as part of David Livingstone Bicentenary & Livingstone 2013 Initiative and lead up to the UNWTO.

It usually starts on Friday with performances around Livingstone, Saturday will see the Street Carnival, with local pop concerts and Gala Dinner in the evening. On the Sunday the big arena festival will be held at The Royal Livingstone Golf Club. For more information and for the dates of the next festival, please contact Jocelyn Mutinta at the Zambian Tourism Board, Livingstone + 260 213 32 1487.
